So I finally had a lull in the busy life that is Jennifer Mitchell and thought I would update. This semester has been so crazy, but it's been so wonderful at the same time. I just love how God answers prayers. Things that have burdened my heart for so long have been answered in God's perfect timing and way. Isn't He amazing? I really feel like I am living in God's perfect will right now. I can't imagine doing anything different or being anywhere different. Things are going so well and it has absolutly nothing to do with me. Again may I say God is awesome. So update time: I'm working three jobs at Lee and I love it! I'm an Usher for chapel, I work in Campus Ministries Office, and I'm on A-Force ( I give campus tours). They are the best jobs ever! I'm also leading a Bible Study for the girls on my hall called HYPE. The HYPE program really is awesome. Basically, I'm in training to be a Dorm Chaplin which is an upper classmen who is over a whole dorm and who is just there to pray for and love on the girls. How amazing is that job? I would get paid to pray! Classes have been really tough this semester, but I love a challenge! And can I just take a moment to say I have the best friends ever? (dispite the song that Mike and Zak wrote for me) And yes I've even been out on a couple dates. That's right Jennifer Mitchell is finally back on the market So we're on Spring Break this week and I've already had a great time. We had Mom's Kids Sale last weekend and it went great. It starts again tomorrow night, so I'm about to be really busy again. But in between the sale I got to hang out with awesome Brandon, eat with my grandmother, and then hopefully make 7:22 tonight. Not to mention I got to sleep like 13 hours on Sunday. So I really miss Mt. Paran, and all you awesome people there. Dave and a bunch of others hung out at our house last night after Breaks and it really reminded me how much I miss old school youth group. I hope you all are doing well, and I look forward to seeing you all Sunday!
IT SNOWED ON SATURDAY!! I love snow so much. Granted this was like the smallest flurry and you had to squint to see it, but it was still snow and I love it! There's something so magical about snow. I've got a busy week and a busier weekend. Cats on wednesday though! Then I come back to Lee for a 12 hours semenar on Friday and Saturday sucks but that's life. Anyway I just wanted to update about SNOW and make everyone jelous!!
All A's YAY!! Well I still don't know about one last class, but I had a 97 going into the exam so I think I"ll be ok. It's been soooo wonderful to not have to worry about college and all the stuff that goes along with it. Ok so quick update: I got accepted to be an usher at chapel next semester which sounds like a loser job, I know, but you get paid $100/month and it's something I have to go to anyway, so I"m happy about that. Also I got on the A-force team which gets paid for giving tours and phone calls and such. I had the oppertunity to speak at Fontline this year which is like Senior visit day and that's when I found out about the team. I'm excited cause you all know I love to talk and get to know people. I am just soooo thankful that the Lord has provided me with these jobs. They won't take that much extra time, which is wonderful. So I decided to add Bible/Theology to my missions major, so now I"m double majoring and maybe minoring in Buisness depending on how next year goes. Ok so I can't wait for my classes next semester. I just got done watching the Emperor's Club and it just got me all the more excited. I'm taking Philosophy, Theology, Psycology, New Testament, Church Planting, and two one hour credit courses that are like a weekend long. I love higher learning! Also, it's really cool being in the School of Religeon at Lee cause like all the ministry majors take classes together. So when we get together to study for exams it always ends up being a theological discussion. I love it. But I love home more. It's been wonderful to be at home with my family relaxing. I can't wait to hang out with everyone too!! Give me a call and we'll definatly have to get together I miss church and I miss my church friends! I hope everyone has a great break!!
